Laser Printer Reviews of HP and Brother
I purchased one printer through Amazon and was debating between the HP and a similarly priced wireless printer from Brother. The replacement toner cartridges are a bit more for the HP, but then again, they come with the drum assembly built in. This greatly reduces maintenance and potential hardware failures. Here are some reviews of HP and Brother laser printer.
Notice: HP printers are generally very reliable and always has good driver support both under Windows and Linux. Brother printers has both Apple and Windows support with a pretty straight forward setup.

“This is a great printer in every aspect. Laser printers offer sharp text and fast printing and this one is no exception. The package for the price is unbeatable. Laser printer with WiFi for under $15
0? Sign me up! I was definitely not let down with this unit. WiFi set up was a breeze and HP’s Smart Install is amazing. 5 minutes after getting the box open, I was printing wirelessly with my laptop. Reliability is a perfect 100%. I’ve been printing less and less over the past several months (it automatically goes into a low power mode after printing and wakes itself up when receiving a new print job). Any time I print something, it fires itself up and is done in a blink.”
“I am so excited to review this great little laser printer. We did just purchase it, but the ease of set up was wonderful. I was able to hook to our wireless network very easily and then hooked it to my daughter’s laptop and it connected right up. It prints quickly and fairly quietly for a laser, then it shuts down quickly too. I read a lot of reviews on this one and hopefully it will continue to be as great in the future as it is right now.”
